david/nicolas, a Beirut based design studio co-founded by David Raffoul and Nicolas Moussallem, is the creative force behind this splendid modular bookcase designed for Gallotti& Radice. This 2021/2022 proposal for the G&R brand reveals an innovative approach that loves to dabble with contrasting materials, while blending retro, contemporary and futuristic elements. A mainstay in the designer duo's creations is the crafting of functional but high-end material elements.

The Prism Divider bookcase presents itself as a modular, column-like bookcase in Frisé colored walnut. It features satin brass metal inserts and is available in two versions with double or triple shelves.

The interesting aspect about this furnishing project is that compositions of different shapes and sizes can be created by placing two or more modules side by side. The Lebanese duo also designed the stand fittings for the Gallotti & Radice booth at the Milan 2021 SuperSalone. Astonished visitors to the booth were greeted by a mesmerizing interplay of reflective mirrors, highlighting all the brand's new offerings.
