Taormina bed and Lotus bedisde table by Flou

Flou's design and research center has rolled out a novel interpretation of the bedroom for its 2021/22 collections.

The undisputed star of the collection is Taormina is a large double -size bed with eye-catching aesthetic appeal that can support important mattresses, those of greater height or complete with toppers. The compact bed surround rises up to form the soft, luxurious headboard; its curves are highlighted by the exposed stitching that runs along the entire perimeter. Flou's Taormina bed is designed with a specific goal: its proportions are carefully developed to emphasize the importance of mattress comfort even without excessive height, conveying both beauty and intimacy.

The soft, generous and embracing curve of the headboard can be enhanced by the minimalism of the Lotus bedside table. Created by designer Emanuela Garbin, it has a simple style and a lightweight look, its structure is made in curved metal with minimal thickness. The raised edge of the top can be completed with a hide-leather pad that matches the metal finishes of the structure or the nuances of the bed's headboard.
