Elle Ecrit: the timeless writing desk by Riva 1920

Elle Ecrit is a solid wood desk created by designer Jamie Durie. The desk features squared lines, and is made from veneered plywood, drawers assembled with dovetail joints and sledge legs in hardwood.
Elle Ecrit comes in multiple versions so it is highly adaptable to existing spaces: finishes range from walnut (with and without knots), to elm, maple, cherry, and oak in countless different shades.

Elle Ecrit fully embraces Riva 1920's artisan culture "applying fine workmanship to craft solid wood furniture to hand down to future generations, as a challenge to time while staunchly preserving the environment".

His latest design accolade was in May 2014 when he was awarded the New York Design Award for his interior dining chair titled, the Tubular Dining Chair, which he designed for Riva 1920.
