Koi, a new double bed by Flou

Flou has rolled out several new additions to its collection, taking advantage of the recent Salone del Mobile in Milan. A particularly noteworthy item among its new releases is Koi, a double bed with clean, sharp lines; it immediately hints at the idea of discreetly charming luxury, yet manages to eschew those ostentatious elements that sometimes beset high-class furniture.

The imposing shape of the headboard is framed by an eye-catching metal structure that flows downwards, to become the base of the composition. Also, the headboard is enriched by the soft fabric that has been skillfully stitched with vertical quilting. This decorative addition appears to elongate the bed and creates a design that is both embracing and sophisticated.

Customizable with a slatted base, a storage base, an electrically-powered slatted base, and the Leonardo base, Koi is truly the ideal bed for decorating the bedroom in style but without overkill.

The fabric or leather upholstery is completely removable. The metal frame of headboard comes in either polished black nickel or matt burnished.
