Poltrona Frau furnishings for luxury yacht Pershing 9X

Pershing 9X, the latest addition to the yachts collection of Ferretti group- a world-class leader in the design, construction and distribution of motor yachts and pleasure boats - is a revolutionary maxi coupé in terms of both design and performance.

It features a state-of-the-art integrated control, manoeuvring & monitoring system, and a futuristic helm station jointly designed by Pershing and the Poltrona Frau Interiors in Motion division.

Poltrona Frau leather upholstery features not only in the helm station but also on the ceilings and bulwarks of the main deck and in the guest cabins' upholstered furniture.

The latter were inspired by a number of iconic models from the Poltrona Frau collection, thereby recalling the unmistakable design that has always been a hallmark of the famed Italian brand. These include the Leplì line - a range of furnishings consisting of stool, bench and pouf by designer Kensaku Oshiro, where hints of fashion-inspired sartorial elegance come together with traditional trims - and Gran Torino, the iconic sofa designed by Jean-Marie Massaud that draws from the exclusive world of saddle leather upholstery.

The Pershing 9X nautical project, which is already garnering critical praise and promises to deliver great successes worldwide, celebrates 10 years of the working partnership between Poltrona Frau and Pershing, thus confirming the former's relentless pursuit of broader horizons, venturing beyond its traditional field of interest and demonstrating a constant desire to bring its expertise to different industry segments.
