Roda outdoor furniture
Roda was established in Gavirate (Varese) in 1990. Until 2000, the company focused mainly on making a name for itself in the domestic market. It was specialized in particular in the production of teak furniture, combining quality and design. In 2004, it became the first outdoor furniture brand to create furnishing collections with the same "cultural identity" as its interiors. This proved to be a real turning point, and designer Rodolfo Dordoni was appointed the man in charge of Roda projects. The innovative concept of "IN and OUT" thus came into being, with its belief that the line between indoors and outdoors can be very blurred indeed. Roda started this trend that later caught on among large sections of the modern design world. The brand's creative team saw fellow designer Gordon Guillaumier and stylist and colorist Gabriella Zecca jumping on board, and who have contributed to enhancing the furnishing company's sophisticated taste.
Today Roda is an internationally consolidated brand, whose mission is to conceive a dimension of living that reaches beyond the confines of the home. Outdoor and indoor are blended in perfect harmony, in a spatial and conceptual continuity. To complete its exclusive feel, Roda boasts a camouflage design, which binds its furniture closely to the outdoor space, in search of an almost symbiotic relationship with nature.
