Knoll celebrates its 80th anniversary by revisiting some of its classic pieces

For its 80th anniversary, Knoll has decided to revisit the iconic projects of Eero Saarinen, Florence Knoll and others, with the same spirit of innovative modernity and inspired by the design in which they were originally conceived.

Paper City magazine is one of the publications at national level that have decided to join the Knoll project. Specifically, the magazine highlighted Knoll's commitment and ability to innovate the modernist values on which it was founded in 1938, writing that "At 80, Knoll is as lively as ever."

The same editorial sported a number of images of modern classics revisited by Knoll with their new fabrics and finishes.

These include the Pedestal Side tables by Eero Saarinen in Rosso Rubino marble (Ruby Red marble), the Wassily Chair in Gold by Marcel Breuer and the Four Seasons Barstool stool in antique bronze by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.

Also, designs harking back to Knoll's rich modernist legacy alongside new contemporary designs were reintroduced. Finally, Paper City also devoted ample space to Van der Rohe's MR Chair in Rattan, originally conceived in 1927.
