The Cestone sofa by Flexform stars in the web series Home at Last

Cestone - the iconic sofa designed by architect Antonio Citterio - is starring in the third episode of the web series Home at last, a series of short films showcased by Flexform for its 2017/2018 campaign.

Characterized by a highly unusual back where the sides and backrest are made of wide strips of intertwined woven saddle-hide on a metal frame, Cestone has always been a must in the Flexform collection.

It is no accident, then, that the sofa was chosen as the silent main character in the short film, where the camera dwells on different details of the sofa, including the sophisticated checkerboard pattern on its back..

The video shows a young couple portrayed in a playful and intimate time and suggests that the sofa should be enjoyed in a cosy and informal way.

Cestone therefore confirms its status as a real island of relaxation in the contemporary living room and its "relaxing" function is deliberately played out in the video.
