Vanity Fair definitely means modern armchair, a clone of the famous model 904, designed by Poltrona Frau in 1939 and world-known for its rounded shape and a trimming with 275 leather-covered studs set along the armrest and backrest.
Each production step is performed by hand: the padding includes vegetable hair (hand-processed) and rubber-processed hair. The seat cushion is feather-padded. Comfort is assured all around the item by steel coils hand-tied and lain upon jute bands.
The Pelle Frau® covering uses only the most precious part of leather, i.e.full grain, duly hand-processed by skilled artisans to provide a unique armchair with an everlasting value.
